I’m Erick, will share my experience about harvest moon back to nature..I hope you enjoy this..
This game is an old school for me, because Its launched on a year of 2000, where the people just celebrate the new millennium.. and at the time, my age was just about ten years old..
Damn, Really.. this game really IS fun... I willing to skip my class for playing harvest moon at the playstation rental, back then. Hoho.. Its cost about 5 bucks/hour. For a little schoolboy like me, renting a playstation will kill my money.. because its expensive though..

Hmm..
Yes. In this game started from the main character (we can call it “franky”)was a towns people that had a good time visiting his grandfather in the village, he spend the time for playing with chicken, cow, sheep and his grandfather has dog.. the absurd thing is, franky had the chicken being disturbed.. and the result is that franky cried out because the chicken go mad, and start to chase him.. hahaha..
Franky is good with the ladies too, y’now..? even in his 3rd of age, he had attracted many girl in this town... do you remember when franky felt asleep near the cedar tree?? Can u imagine what on his mind?? Don’t you..?? hmm.. accidentally (or just intentionally) a little girl come nearby.. and they both singing a song together at the summit.. what a romantic story..
Few years later, after his arrival to his home, franky had an idea to visit his grandfather’s farm for the second time, but he just shocked because he don’t even know the news that his beloved grand father passed away several years ago, without anyone being noticed except the governor, him self... and franky have a request from his grampa, for taking care of the farm..
And its just the beginning..
The beginning:
You will receive 500G, sickle, axe, hoe, hammer, watering can, house and farm as a playground..
According to my opinion, this is not well enough.. What 500G use for? We don’t even have enough money for Buying a chicken. But it’s the challenge.. because with the less money, we have to find another way to gain money.. it could be possible for selling back anything you get from the hill and forest (like bamboo shoot, grape, wild grape, apple, mushroom, truffle, etc). and if you get enough money.. you can start to buy some seed to plant on your farm.. use your tool to clean the farm from the garbage, branch, and stone.
Beside of farming, we asked for interact with another villager.. (like the normal interaction). And there’s a time for you seeing girls (babes, whoa.. hahaha) in this village.. and you’re gonna start think to find your life mate..
The Goal:
We’re Quoted for 3 years. If we could do something or making some change to the farm that are being abandoned by your grampa, so the governor and the other village will accept you.. but, as you can see.. if you’re fail to do that.. this farm would ends up become an amusement park..
And that’s the end of the story… it’s a bad ending though.. hehe..
But don’t u ever worry.. because after the 3rd year, there’s a extended time to build up your farm..
And we could play the game until the end of the world.. (that means unlimited..)
Game play:
This Game was a different kind of RPG. and that’s mean that this game was an RPG game, but it’s kinda different.. hehe.. with a standard button to control your main character, we won’t find a serious matter for controlling “franky”.. jhhahaa..
In this game, it has a large map and consistent...so we can easily memorize where the way to the market, hills, your farm, or to the rose square.. it’s a lot easier than any other RPG game that mostly use a large number of “dungeon” that confusing...
The bad:
This game doesn’t have any change after the 3rd years game.. so it’s a lot of chance for you getting bored when you’re playing this game, especially when u passed the 3rd of the year.
Its mentioned that “franky” will have a child, of course after your marriage with any of the one of your love (popuri, elli, Karen, ann, [the eye glassed girl who always sitting on the library, I forgot her name.. hehe], or perhaps the harvest goddess.. that’s possible ).hey, back to the topic..
After the child grown up, I just hear the rumors that they can help you farming... but it maybe just a fairy tale.. I don’t believe it at all.. you must’ve asked “why?”
Because on my experience I played harvest moon until the year of 28th, my children still act like a baby.. what the hell is that..
No change at all, and this time, I really give up....
Hmm.. the last is that all of the dialogue of the character still written in a text.. without a voice. unfortunately.

Cheats:
Get Karen to Marry You: Don't talk to her much. In every season a new flower blooms. Pick all the flowers from each season,then give her each flower until one flower turns her face pinkish-red. In the season that the flower blooms, if you give her one of the same flower per day, she will marry you.
Infinite Water in Water Can: Go to the mine that is only available in winter. Dig down until you see a path. Go through to see a spring. Fill your water can with water from the spring, and from then on you have an infinite amount of water. Every time you upgrade your water can, fill it.
